SEASONS Our game follows North American seasons (cold winters and hot summers for most areas). Winter — December, January, February Spring — March, April, May Summer — June, July, August Fall — September, October, November WEATHER Weather is generated for each territory on a daily basis. Weather can be viewed on the Weather History page. Please use the correct weather to match the IC date of your thread, even when back-dating (check the weather history before posting). WEATHER TYPES Clear — Clear, bright skies with no clouds and a vibrant sun. Mixed — An equal mix of clear skies and clouds. Cloudy — Completely overcast sky covered by clouds. Drizzle — Drizzling showers of light rain that start and stop throughout the day. Rain — Steady rainfall throughout the day, but may start or stop for brief moments. Fog — A thick, cloud-like mist that hangs in the air, reducing visibility and sound. Frost — A cold-snap, freezing temperatures and thin layer of ice on surfaces. Snow — Frozen snow and ice that may vary from a light dusting to a deep layer of snow. Dangerous Weather Dangerous Weather indicates conditions that may cause injury or be life threatening to those who are unable to take shelter, elderly, young, or injured. Flood — Heavy torrential rainfall that causes flash flooding. Storm — Thick cloud-cover with lightning, thunder, heavy rain, and strong winds. Hail — Frozen pellets of ice of varying sizes. May occur with or without a storm. Blizzard — Freezing temperatures, heavy snowfall, thick layers of ice, and powerful winds. Wildfire — Quick-spreading fire, with intense heat, falling ash, and poisonous smoke. Heatwave — Reduced precipitation and dangerously high temperatures. May or may not be muggy. Tornado — A powerful wind cyclone that can uproot trees and destroy terrain. Hurricane — Powerful large storm with heavy rain, flooding and dangerous winds.
