Staff Staff are helpers who have specific duties to help keep the site running. Contact current Staff members through the #support channel in our discord rather than DMing individuals. Staff Expecations Consistent IC Activity: Keep a minimum of 1 character Active and make 5 IC posts (with the same character) spaced evenly throughout the month. Consistent OOC Activity: Participate as a player and set a positive example in the community: be involved in discord, discussing plots, characters, other discussions, chatting, etc (only posting in the private staff channels will not fulfill this requirement). Make an effort to build friendships in the community. Be an example of “friendly and fair”. Be knowledgeable of the Game Rules: You don't need to be an expert, but please take a look at the Guidebook and search there for answers to avoid passing along incorrect information. Fulfill Staff Duties: Make a proactive effort to fulfill the duties of your role; ie. looking over character profiles, looking at posts or stats for accurate dice-rolls, brainstorming ideas for plots or RPCs, volunteering to play the NPC, or asking others members if they have ideas, coming up with fun OOC events or contests, etc. Understand the position is not permanent: Staff may be removed or switched out from time to time. We want Staff to focus on being a player first, post with their characters, and take breaks. This also gives others a chance to help run events and give fresh input. We may cycle back around and ask you to join staff again later. Staff Duties Owner / Head Admin Manage the 'behind-the-scenes' of running the site Add/remove members of Staff Update skins & layouts, guidebook, rules, etc Disciplinary bans Premium account redemption Faction page updates Add/Delete/Correct Experience claims Compliance Coordinator Review character profiles for compliance with our game rules Help new members with profile questions Review monthly stats for Leader Activity requirements Review monthly stats for Faction requirements (disbanding / suggesting opening Faction formation) Announce the top poster for the monthly post stats Event Coordinator Create monthly / random IC events, plots, contests, community events, etc Work with others to brainstorm events and plot ideas Play the NPC account as needed (hunts, events, plots, etc) Create monthly RPC (Roleplay Challenge) events Announce raids or other notable IC events
